About Bliss
Katie has worked in the wedding industry for many years, firstly as a Wedding Planner & Co-ordinator and now as a Venue Dresser & Stylist. Katie qualified as a Wedding Planner back in 2009 and this experience means that you get so much more than a Stylist alone.
Since 2022 we have been far and wide across the North West working with an incredible bunch of clients for their Weddings and Events. Bliss is now a Multi Award-Winning Business and this is a testament to how hard we work for our clients but also how lovely they are to nominate and vote for us in these awards. A key element to our success is the relationship we have with our clients. This is evident through our feedback and 5 star reviews from those who have chosen us to be a part of their Wedding or Event.
Bliss has a huge product offering and we do think we offer some of the most impressive ranges of Flower Walls, Sequin Walls and Neon Signs in the North West. We cater for all sizes of Weddings & Events - there is no minimum hire or minimum spend with us unlike with some companies. All our prices quoted to you will include setup on the day, collection as agreed with you / the venue, travel charges where necessary, a turnaround service if required and also the items for hire.
We work with a range of fabulous suppliers across the North West to bring you items such as chivari / cross back chair hire, dancefloors; magic mirrors; light up letters to name a few. If you are looking for additional items we would be happy to obtain quotes for you for consideration. Our clients can benefit from our supplier discounts and everything is transparent; you get to see the contract / booking form and can even make your own payments.
How We Work
Regardless of whether you are contacting us about your Wedding or an Event, our commitment to our clients is the same. When you choose Bliss you are dealing with Katie from start to finish and she will be there with her team on the day enjoying all the setup brings - at Bliss we LOVE all celebrations (and any excuse for a party!), just make sure you kick Katie out before you hit the dancefloor.
If you are planning / hosting an Event:
We will work with you to create the look and feel you are going for; completing a site visit if required together to ensure we make the most of the space available in the room you have. If you are hosting the event at home then we can look to doing a video call if required and of course we can give you an idea on what space you will need to ensure you have ample room.
We will finalise all colours, quantities and content a couple of weeks before and agree all the timings with you and the venue the week of the setup. All our pricing includes setup on the day, collection as agreed and any applicable travel costs.
If you are planning your Wedding:
We always start the process by getting to know you a little and ask you to share ideas with us as to what you are looking for. That way we can see how you envisage your wedding and we can offer suggestions as to how we can achieve this. We then work to putting everything together for you in a full and comprehensive proposal. To us, this is so much more than numbers on a page, you need to feel that your stylist understands your vision. Most importantly you need to feel that they can execute this for you and that you can work together over the coming months.
If there are things we need to add, remove or change be it now or later down the line we can do - with us everything is flexible. Once you have agreed to everything in principal and we have your date booked in we would love to be kept up to date with all things wedding - all the other details you tick off your list can be helpful to know. Throughout the planning process and the countdown we will be in touch. If we are are at your venue for another wedding in the lead up to the big day we will see if you want to pop down and see us. A couple of months before we will look at getting the walkthrough meeting booked in if we are providing a full service. If we need to bring fabrics / samples along for you to choose from we will. Following this meeting, we can then ensure the proposal is up to date with everything and ensure it reflects any changes needed - if your décor has changed or if numbers have increased / decreased this can all be agreed upon and finalised. We will then request the balance payment approx. 4 weeks before.
On the day of the wedding, we will be onsite to set up the décor as agreed for your Ceremony, Reception or both if a turnaround service is needed. Following our last part of the setup we either leave you to get married, enjoy your wedding breakfast or to dance the night away! We will arrange collection of everything with the venue staff and we eagerly await post wedding pictures.
